Domaine de Panéry is present at the Cannes Film Festival on the tables of the “Terrasse By Albane” alongside Mauro Colagreco, chef and owner of a 3-star restaurant in Menton, voted best restaurant in the world in 2019.
Our fine bottles will accompany the dishes of the starred chef: an opportunity for festival-goers to taste several wines from the Pays d’Uzès.
The history of the winery
Located in Pouzilhac, in the heart of the Gard region, the estate is renowned for its unique wines and oils, and its commitment to environmentally-friendly practices.
Domaine de Panéry covers 500 hectares. Its hotel-restaurant and winery are set in idyllic surroundings in harmony with nature.
The different grape varieties of our wines (Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault, Carignan and Mourvèdre for the reds and rosés, Grenache, Marsanne and Viognier for the whites) are the perfect accompaniment to the flavors of this not-to-be-missed table at the Cannes Film Festival.
Emblematic cuvées include “La Madone Blanc 2022”, aged in oak barrels, and “La Garuste rosé 2023”, which won a silver medal at the Concours des Vins d’Orange.
Since the renovation of the Domaine, we have made a point of offering wines under PDO (Protected Designation of Origin), to guarantee the excellence of our products.
Domaine de Panéry olive oils
The estate is also one of France’s leading olive oil producers, with almost 120 hectares of planted olive trees.
Each oil is made from a unique variety: Arbequine, Picholine, Arbosane or Koroneiki. Local olives, adapted to the terroir. They are first cold-pressed.
They hold the “Vierge Extra” label because of the meticulousness of the manufacturing process: a method of extraction by pressing at low temperature to preserve all its gustatory properties.
All our olive oils are certified organic, a sign of our commitment to preserving the land of our estate.
Products of excellence at the Cannes Festival
The Domaine’s presence at the Cannes Festival is a prestigious opportunity to introduce our wines and olive oils to an international audience.
With their complex aromas and subtle balance, they are a perfect match for the haute gastronomy proposed by Mauro Colagreco.
This collaboration with two emblematic figures in the world of cuisine and events, Mauro Colagreco and Albane Cleret, highlights the excellence of the estate’s products.
